Are files uploaded to a server?
No. Local file contents are processed in browser memory and are not sent to DoGetSkill servers. Normal hosting access logs may still record request metadata such as IP address and user agent.
Can it process scanned PDFs and images?
Yes, with optional local OCR. OCR is off by default, and its worker, WebAssembly core and language data are downloaded when first used.
Is DoGetSkill free and does it require an account?
The current service is free and does not require an account. You can process up to 12 files at a time, with a 50 MB limit for each file or ZIP.
What can I export?
You can export Markdown, Codex Skills, Claude Skills, generic Agent Skills, Obsidian vaults, NotebookLM source packages and RAG datasets.
