Are slide animations or videos exported?

No. Markdown output focuses on readable text and structure; animations, transitions and embedded video are not reproduced.

Are files uploaded to a server?

No. Local file contents are processed in browser memory and are not sent to DoGetSkill servers. Normal hosting access logs may still record request metadata such as IP address and user agent.

Can it process scanned PDFs and images?

Yes, with optional local OCR. OCR is off by default, and its worker, WebAssembly core and language data are downloaded when first used.
