What Word structure is preserved?

The converter aims to preserve headings, paragraphs, lists, links and tables as readable Markdown.

Does it work with old DOC files?

DOC and DOCX are both accepted. Older or damaged documents can vary, so review the preview before export.

Are files uploaded to a server?

No. Local file contents are processed in browser memory and are not sent to DoGetSkill servers. Normal hosting access logs may still record request metadata such as IP address and user agent.

Can it process scanned PDFs and images?

Yes, with optional local OCR. OCR is off by default, and its worker, WebAssembly core and language data are downloaded when first used.
